HI All,Some good scores in there, and sorry to hear of your beam failure Patrick – not what we want in the middle of a contest.Only failure here was the rotator for 20m not engaging the magnetic bearing. A quick tap with a hammer rectified the problemwith the aircraft flap actuator motor that I use. Scored it from my granddad. He used it to turn his 2 ele quad in the early 60’s.It will never die.. hi hi.3 bands were mostly open here at any one time in SEQld.  Jumping from one to the other as there didn’t seem to be much on,and as Allan says, indicated by low numbers being passed out. Run rates were very low so a quick 599 to 52 non Commonwealthcountries passed some time away – seemed easier than trying to tell them otherwise. 5Z, Kenya was my surprise contact.Other prefixes worked were: 3D2 6Y 9H G GM GW V3 VE VK ZF ZL
As a guide I used the bands v time charts from VK and NZ downloaded from the BERU site.
Apologies to Kevin VK6T, on our 1st contact, only receiving AK6T (too quick on your reply Kevin – missed 2 dits) and trying to tell him BERU only.. hi hi..Must have thought I was crazy.. 🙂
