Yesterday I joined with Kev VK6LW/VK6T and we did a podcast on the Commonwealth Contest, with the latter part devoted to logging software. This is intended for those radio amateurs who follow Kev’s regular Radio Public podcasts on contesting and antenna design and construction. He/we do these podcasts just for fun.
A lot of it will be familiar to those who have taken part in the CC as it is intended as an introduction/overview to the contest, but hopefully older CC hands may still find it interesting or amusing.

As I think you know most of my working life was spent doing print journalism – reporting, writing, editing, designing and producing publications.
When you hear my voice and speaking manner, you will see why I never did much radio work (and why I prefer CW to SSB) 😉. Thankfully, Kev is a natural as a broadcaster.
