BERU 2017 rules have now been published at http://www.rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2017/beru2017.shtml
Note the reduced submission time (5 days), the need to advise HFCC of any proposed remote operation and the extra HQ stations from the UK country call areas. There is now an additional penalty for logging errors!
So if you are a DX traveller and not returning to UK until week after the contest, that is friendly of the HFCC 🙂
Agree with you Dominic. Assumption of the HFCC is that everywhere in the world has cheap reliable internet connectivity to send in logs … not always the case. This rule needs reconsidering I feel for DX travellers.
