Hi Everyone,
I have just received a message from Ian (G3WVG) who reports that he and Nigel (OE5TXF) have safely arrived in the Falkland Islands following two long flights via Ascension Island (ZD8). Ian reports that they will be active as Ian – VP8CIW and Nigel as VP8TXF and will be QRV later today. They say that their site is very remote and sloping north to the ocean. They report that they have no internet or e-mail connection at all, so please work them when you hear them. Good luck everyone.

| Stew GW0ETF Mar 3 #20981 Now that each UK&CD region is a separate call area for DX stations we will all probably experience more activity – the first 3 QSOs worked in G, GI, GD, GJ, GM, GU and GW will earn 20 bonus points for every caller from outside of the UK&CD on each band. So a good turn out to satisfy the hoped for demand, particularly from the above regions, would be most welcome. It promises to be a fun 24 hours with plenty of dx demand. Please join us even if you can’t manage the whole contest. The UK&CD HQ stations are listed on the G6XX QRZ page (https://www.qrz.com/db/G6XX). If anyone wishes to volunteer to fill the remaining empty slots there is still time; these calls are RSGB Contest Club calls and don’t require a NoV. Please check before the contest for any changes.73, Stew GW0ETFhttps://www.rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2025/rcwc.shtml |
